The Horldt Family Writing Center assists students with their writing needs. We are staffed by faculty members and help students at any point in the writing process. Our goal is to improve the student writer and stress the importance of the writing process within all disciplines.

We offer in-person tutoring in the SSC (C201), Zoom tutoring, and asynchronous writing feedback to address planning, developing, and revising written work. In addition to these sessions, the writing center facilitates the KCP Writing Workshop events.

The writing center also operates a summer workshop series the week before the fall semester. The workshop better prepares students for academic writing and focuses on analysis and argument.

The Horldt Family Writing Center operates fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Students can make an in-person or Zoom appointment with the HWC at: ltu.mywconline.com .

Any questions? Email the HWC at: writingcenter@dos5.net , or drop by the SSC for in-person tutoring.
